Emerging technology from the disintegrating mind! It's a kind of an oxymoron. How do you have the mind of a "senior citizen" process the wonders of the social network? This is the first of what will surely become a series of rants and raves about Web 2.0. During today's class I have realized the importance of using the social network and media to connect with my tourism colleagues  to share information and in the end become more efficient in our jobs.

    Good attitude. My aunt Kathy learned how to use a computer at 70 years of age so she could use email to keep in touch with her grandkids. Technology can be a good thing once you figure it out.

    I'm with you - still prefer to sit down and have a coffee with someone rather than "instant message" them. But, I'm starting to recognize the importance of keeping up-to-date.
